About the Forest Ecopreneurs Incubation Program

The Forest Ecopreneurs Incubation Program supported diverse eco-friendly ventures united by a shared commitment to protect Cambodia’s natural ecosystems and support local livelihoods.

Over the course of the six-month program, they received practical training, reflecting and learning through Bridge for Billions’ online incubation platform and with guidance from mentors; built meaningful community and collaborations with peers; and gained visibility and new networks. Ultimately, the program helped them strengthen their businesses and set foundations for further impact and growth.

Our Approach

Practical Learning from International Platform

Through our partnership with Bridge for Billions, the entrepreneurs gain access to a global online learning platform. Through eight practical business modules, the entrepreneurs can refine their business models, develop concrete growth plans, and get feedback on them from their mentors.

Mentoring support

Each entrepreneur is matched with an experienced mentor. Over the length of the program, they receive one-on-one support from their mentor to help them troubleshoot challenges, shape strategies, and make the right connections. For many of the entrepreneurs in the program, this is the first time they’ve had access to a business mentor.

Increased Visibility

We boost the visibility of our ventures through media, amplifying their stories. At the end of the program, they will showcase their businesses to a curated audience and make connections that can help them growth even after the program ends.

Expert Sessions

Entrepreneurs have the chance to learn directly from experienced leaders in sustainability and social impact. These sessions provide practical advice and real-life best practices to help them partner with local communities, enhance their environmental impact, and build a brand that centers impact.

Peer Community with Like-Minded Ventures

Entrepreneurs join a collaborative community, online and through period in-person events including a bootcamp and a field trip. These connections spark peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, peer support, and even some business partnerships!

We Understand, We Support

We’re here for the entrepreneurs at every step of the journey — offering tools, individualized guidance, and encouragement to help them tackle challenges and reach their goals.

Testimonial

I used to hear people say you need a business plan, but I never built one because I lacked confidence and doubted my ideas. Joining the program on Aknusar’s advice was eye-opening. With my mentor’s guidance, I shifted from a traditional to a digital selling approach. Digital marketing felt overwhelming at first, but the sessions — especially the mini-hack — pushed me out of my comfort zone and showed me that growth starts from within. I once felt isolated with no business network, but now I’ve met supportive entrepreneurs, gained valuable feedback, and even received collaboration opportunities after the program.

In past pitching competitions, it was always about winning or losing, with little space for learning. This program was different — it focused on growth. The pitching training and feedback from the IHPP team helped me communicate more clearly and engage my audience better. I joined with the hope of expanding my network, and I truly achieved that. I learned about accessing markets, grants, and funding, and the closing event helped me build meaningful connections that could lead to future collaboration. Hearing other entrepreneurs’ stories also inspired me with new perspectives. I gained exactly what I hoped for — and more.

Besides all those learning experiences, what’s more?

It was the sense of collaboration between entrepreneurs.

Beyond the learning sessions, this cohort truly embodied the spirit of community. They’ve started collaborating on their own — co-creating new products, building partnerships, and sharing opportunities.
