Call for Bids: Trainer(s) for the Forest Ecopreneurs Cambodia 2026 Bootcamp
Background
Forest Ecopreneurs Cambodia 2026 is a business support and market access programme for forest-friendly and rural MSMEs in Cambodia. The programme supports selected enterprises to become more market-ready, finance-ready, and better connected with buyers, financiers, and forest/community-level producers.
We are seeking qualified local trainer(s) to design and deliver practical bootcamp sessions for the selected MSMEs during the 1-day in-person bootcamp on 17 July 2026.
The two training topics are: (1) Market Access and (2) Growth Financing.
One session will take place in the morning and the other in the afternoon of 17 July 2026. Impact Hub Phnom Penh may select two trainers to deliver one topic each, or one trainer to cover both topics, depending on expertise and fit.
*Applicants may apply for one topic or both topics.
About the program
Forest Ecopreneurs Cambodia 2026 is a structured, tailored support programme to strengthen forest-friendly and rural MSMEs with growth potential. The selected cohort will participate in business diagnostics, in-person bootcamp sessions, 1:1 mentoring, market access workshops, field visits, and partnership activities with forest communities and rural producers.
By the end of the programme, participating MSMEs can expect to:
- Strengthen key areas of their business, including operations, financial management, products, market readiness, and team capacity.
- Develop clearer growth plans and practical milestones for business improvement.
- Better understand market requirements and prepare for engagement with buyers, partners, or financiers.
- Explore stronger linkages with forest communities, rural producers, and nature-based value chains.
- Gain access to relevant networks, market opportunities, and practical support from the IHPP team and external experts.
The 2-day bootcamp will be one of the first major activities of the programme and will help selected MSMEs build a practical foundation for the support journey ahead.

- Integrate the concept of sustainable sourcing where relevant, especially in relation to market access, buyer trust, supplier reliability, traceability, quality consistency, financing readiness, and long-term growth.
- Develop training materials, including slide decks, handouts, tools, templates, and participatory activities as needed.
- Deliver the assigned session(s) mainly in Khmer/English during the in-person bootcamp on 17 July 2026.
- Coordinate with the IHPP team before the bootcamp to finalize the session flow, examples, exercises, and materials.
