Media & Campaign Lead
We’re looking for an awesome Media & Campaign Lead to join our caring and talented team, working in our media4impact Department! Summary
As the Media & Campaign Lead, you will spearhead impactful projects within our Media4Impact Department, engaging with content creators, media and creative professionals including newsrooms focusing on sustainability, social impact, and other purpose-driven sectors. Your role will encompass program strategy design, implementation, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the success of initiatives that align with our mission.
As part of Impact Hub Phnom Penh, the media4impact – Prosob initiative is run as a support program, community, and hub for creators, influencers, media professionals & entrepreneurs to produce and disseminate impactful content, grow engaged audiences and ultimately support them in building viable media platforms.
For the general public, Prosob is an on&offline social and environmental hub where they can access meaningful content that inspires ideas, connects them with like-minded communities and enables them to be the change they want to see within themselves and ultimately contribute to the betterment of the community. Location: Toul Tompoung, Phnom Penh.
Commitment: Full-time position. Full-time = 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required for evening and weekend work when programs are running (can be claimed as paid leave).

Your exciting role
Key Responsibilities
1. Media and Campaign Strategy, Design and Sales (30%)
- Collaborate with the Head of Media4Impact and Leadership Team to craft program strategies aligned with media4impact objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of strategies across Media4Impact’s three arms:
- Agency: (main focus) Drive creative campaigns, bringing together content creators to amplify the work of our social impact-focus clients.
- Capacity Building: Support ideation, incubation, and acceleration programs for content creators
- Community: Lead initiatives like Prosob Exhibition, Content Camp, and community activations.
- Provide strategic and creative input to design programs and campaigns.
- Work with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning team to ensure programs meet KPIs and achieve desired outcomes.
- Deliver regular reports on program performance and impact
2. Project Management (20%)
- Oversee Media4Impact projects, from concept to implementation and reporting.
- Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with teams, especially under the Agency activities.
- Effectively manage resources, timelines, and talent.
- Address challenges proactively throughout project lifecycles.
- Serve as the primary liaison with partners and clients, maintaining relationships from proposal to impact evaluation.
3. Community Engagement (5%)
- Cultivate a vibrant meaningful community within the Prosob network.
- Build an inclusive environment for creative idea exchange and networking.
- Engage Prosob Community Alumni in campaigns, mentorship, and new product development when relevant.
- Delegate community activation tasks to the Program Manager as needed.
4. Mentorship and Skill Development (15%)
- Facilitate workshops to enhance media, creative and professional skills and knowledge of content creators, storytellers, and media professionals within our capacity-building programs.
- Mentor and coach teams through incubation, acceleration, and content camp programs.
- Provide tailored follow-ups, resources, and connections to stakeholders.
- Co-develop and implement training and mentorship programs.
5. Team Leadership and Management (10%)
- Manage and support the Media4Impact Program Manager and team members.
- Delegate tasks to internal team members, freelancers, or consultants as necessary.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned programs.
6. Stakeholder Engagement and Network Management (10%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and funders.
- Represent Media4Impact – Prosob Initiative at industry events and conferences.
- Implement stakeholder engagement strategies for assigned programs.
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships to expand departmental impact.
7. Content and Quality Oversight (10%)
- Provide high-level oversight of content creation and distribution.
- Provide editorial oversight to the campaign designs.
- Ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Media & Information Literacy (MIL) principles are integrated into all activities.
- Maintain quality control and drive content innovation for maximum impact.
Requirements
1. Education
A Master’s degree in Journalism, Communication, PR, Marketing, Advertising, Social Science, or a related field. (A bachelor’s degree with significant working experience will be considered.
2. Experience
- Proven experience in project management.
- Proven experience in campaign design.
- Background in corporate PR, marketing, or related fields, with a desire to focus on impact work.
- Experience in proposal design
- Knowledge in audience engagement
- Expertise in editorial processes.
3. Nice to have
- Background in behavior change communication
- Experience with social media management and strategy.
4. Skills & Qualities
- Experience designing and implementing campaigns and capacity-building programs.
- Proficiency in project management and meeting KPIs.
- Project coordination experience; for example, developing timelines, budgeting and resource management, prioritizing to-do lists, meeting deadlines, and achieving deliverables and KPIs (for small projects, initiatives, events, etc. — school project, volunteer, or intern experience is OK!).
- Excellent organizational skills; able to maintain organized documents and information.
- Strong written communication skills: able to transmit information in organized, concise ways through email, Telegram, written program reports, etc.
- Strong verbal communication skills: able to interact professionally with vendors, participants, and stakeholders.
- Comfort with speaking in front of groups.
- Experience or interest in facilitation and community-building; naturally skilled at creating a welcoming, supportive environment for all!
- Passion for our mission of supporting entrepreneurs, and the ability to translate that passion into energy, enthusiasm, and hospitality when interacting with our participants.
- Flexibility and quick thinking to handle logistical issues or unexpected changes.
- Friendly, approachable, and patient; skilled at building positive relationships and not afraid to pick up the phone to resolve a challenge, find out more information, or build relationships.
- Proactive attitude: self-starter with the ability to anticipate and address needs before they arise.
- Able to use digital tools and willing to learn new tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Zoom, ChatGPT, Google Forms,…)
- Collaborative, able to work smoothly with other team members and stakeholders.

5. Languages
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Being fluent and good in Khmer is a plus.
