Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. There is no better time to support youth entrepreneurship.

Cambodia has achieved great economic growth over the past two decades. With growth we have seen huge strides ahead in terms of education, poverty alleviation, social inclusion. However important this progress may have been, the road to sustainable development is still long. Economic progress has come at the expense of the environment, put enormous pressure on natural resources, and has exacerbated social inequality.

We believe that youth entrepreneurship can drive employment and build the skills required for a changing job market for the next phase of economic progress in Cambodia. Impact Hub Phnom Penh is designed to facilitate these solutions by creating programs and a network of collaboration where entrepreneurs and social innovators come together to realise their ideas for a sustainable society.

We, at Smart, intend to play an active role in developing and enabling the ecosystem by building advanced technology and infrastructure, nurturing talents, empowering local entrepreneurs, partnering with startups as well as promoting the Kingdom’s startup scene internationally. Impact Hub has been one of the pioneers in creating opportunities and promoting social entrepreneurship. We’re dreaming big. We want to scale across Cambodia, and reach 10,000 youth through our events and programs by 2022. Through these efforts we hope to empower youth to start their own businesses, take on leadership roles at impactful organisations, and instill an entrepreneurial mindset in youth across the country.
