“At Impact Hub, we believe in the power of entrepreneurship to solve Cambodia’s most pressing issues. In this cohort of SmartSpark6, we gathered aspiring entrepreneurs with various backgrounds such as agriculture, engineering, design, or business but all sharing the same desire to build solutions. Over the past 3 months, the teams have spent most of their time understanding about the problems, doing market research, building prototypes and validating their ideas to see if there is a market for it. We hope that this program could be a launchpad for all the teams to grow their passion and skills in building their startups.” Melanie Mossard, Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation

“Climate change and our unsustainable impact on the environment are clearly the most important challenges of our time and we are running out of time to make the changes we need. While it is easy to get pessimistic about the state of our planet, it is very encouraging to have shared the passion and commitment of these young social entrepreneurs in SmartSpark Cohort 6 who realise that you can make a real difference, even at a local community level, by developing smart ideas that raise awareness of the issues and help tackle real-life problems,”- Koam Tivea, Head of Corporate Affair of Smart Axiata

The pitch marked the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey. All 6 teams were invited to join Impact Hub’s alumni program – Hub Entrepreneurs Club – and will continue to receive support with mentoring, masterclasses, space, and access to a strong community of innovators and leaders.
