Project Green Jobs aims to inspire young Cambodians and young people across ASEAN to understand better the potential of green careers in helping the climate and the environment and give them the knowledge and opportunities they can use to pursue green careers.
Raising awareness on this topic among our youth is about cultivating human resources that can promote green industries and provide better and more sustainable lives, society, and the environment.
As our economy continues to grow, the demand for human resources from our young people is crucial for moving towards a green industry and services. If the economy is driven by green industry and services, it will allow us to have a better quality of life.
Program Activities
Who are the Participants?
Eleven vibrant youth volunteers 🌟 hailing from ten diverse ASEAN countries 🌏 convened for the first time with four local enthusiasts in Battambang province for the #ProjectGreenJobs 🌿
These passionate individuals were carefully selected for their interest and commitment to environmental sustainability and their eagerness to become catalysts for green change in their communities.
Increased Knowledge: Notable increase in knowledge and awareness about green jobs and climate actions.
Empowerment: Participants felt empowered to initiate immediate climate actions in their communities.
Unintended Outcomes: Aside from intended goals, participants experienced personal growth and developed project management and organizational skills.
