Lafiya Innovators – Health Incubation Program is a 2-months + 5-months startup incubation program that supports and accelerates early operational startups focused on health-related problems.
In addition, the program seeks to strengthen the local health ecosystem and health entrepreneurship capacity by bringing together and engaging a strong community of health stakeholders, both locally and globally.

Agri House produces and sells cricket-enhanced, nutritionally balanced snacks for Cambodia’s primary school-aged and youth market. In addition, they operate in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) marketplace, specifically targeting snack stores and small stores outside of schools.
Green Lady Cambodia team provides safer menstrual product choices, educates young people on SRHR topics, facilitates menstruation classrooms with sewing workshops for girls and women in Cambodia.
MeetDoctor helps people with medical conditions to get fast and easy access to highly qualified doctors anywhere, anytime via an online platform with the services of automated medical appointment scheduling, telecommunication, home lab test, storage of medical records, healthcare marketplace, delivery, and payment solution.

PhallChangrit (PCr.) is innovating the cricket value chain, from producing low-cost cricket feed to highly nutritive cricket-based products and bio-fertilizer from frass. Their mission is to bring low-nutritional and sustainable food to the Cambodian community for better health and nutrition to fight against malnutrition, especially among women and children.
MUCH provides medical treatment, consultation at clients’ homes and teleconsultation, healthcare monitoring support and life support, and onsite medical service, including health checks and vaccination. Additionally, Much Mobile Healthcare provides a nursing center for long-term and short-term medical care, life support, and mobile physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions that helps to strengthen physical resilience.
Ektes clinic aims to support and increase the quality of the health care service provided to women and especially mothers. Their services are antenatal care, obstetrical ultrasound, cervical cancer screening and treatment, obstetric and gynecology, birth spacing, natural birth, cesarean section, infertility, and breast pathology.
CancerCo. is a mobile application that that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict/detect cancer symptoms as early as possible. They assess users’ cancer risk factors and provide them with cancer healthcare knowledge such as symptoms, detections, prevention methods, and information on where to seek help, including oncology centers for screening and treatment, as well as online consultation services.
Alkagizer – a blend of the freshest organic vegetables, packed with essential vitamins and minerals, high in dietary fiber, very low in calories and carbs.Alkagizer is committed to help their consumers to maximize their nutritional intake from dark leafy vegetables that offer a long list of health benefits.
Hospicare is a health care service that serves the elderly or people with disability who need nursing support at home or at the hospital. In addition, they also can provide services to employees with a high standard of medical care, including the professional nurses serving 24/7. Moreover, nursing home service offers short-term rehabilitative stays following surgery, illness, or injury.
Sursdey Yoga is a yoga class service created from the passion of their founders to spread yoga classes around Cambodia with Cambodian-certified yoga teachers teaching in Khmer and English. They offer indoor and outdoor yoga classes for employees, for kids and for those who would like to join a yoga wellbeing Retreat.

How is the selection process for this program?
For the First Phase of the program, we will select 10 health-focused startups from Cambodia. Companies must fill out the application form before the 14th August 2022. Our team will apply an initial filter in order to validate that the program’s acceptance criteria are met. A number of pre-selected applications will be invited to an interview with a panel of mentors from the Cambodia’s entrepreneurship, innovation, and health sector.
When is the timeline of the program?
The program will be happening in 2 phases:
Incubation: for the top 10 teams
For 8 weeks, during September and October 2022, there will be group workshops every week, with a maximum duration of 2 hours. There will be also 1-1 mentoring sessions with mentors of up to 1 hour alternating with the workshops, every week.
The retreat to Kampot will happen on the 3-4-5th October 2022.
The final pitch will happen on the 28th October of 2022.
Post incubation: for the top 3 winners only
From November 2022 to March 2023, tailored mentoring from our Expert pool will be providing to the top 3 teams based on their needs.
On the 24th November to 3rd December, the top 3 winners will be joining an Health Ecosystem tour in Switzerland, with all expenses covered, alongside the winners from Accra, Medellin and Dakar.
I have just an idea, can I still apply?
Unfortunately no! You must have a business at the eraly-operational stage where you have already a 1st version of your product and some initial customers.
Where will the program take place?
The Bootcamp will happen at Impact Hub Phnom Penh on the 24th and 25th August.
The 1-1 mentoring program and the Masterclasses in September and October will happen either online or at Impact Hub Phnom Penh.
The Pitch day will be based from the Factory Phnom Penh.
All the travel expenses for teams based outside of Phnom Penh, will be covered by the program.
Additionally, an all-expenses covered retreat will take place in Kampot early October. Date TBC.
