Youth Project Interns
We are seeking two Youth Project Interns to join our team for a three-month full-time/part-time internship at Impact Hub Phnom Penh. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of our diverse and flourishing community of entrepreneurs, innovators, changemakers, and youth leaders.

Location: Impact Hub Office’s Office. Toul Tompoung 1, Phnom Penh.
Working hours: Flexible working hours (based on the availability of the candidate’s school schedule).

Your exciting role
Key Responsibilities
Support Youth Projects:
- Engage and work closely with youth implementing their social projects.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of ongoing youth project implementation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Engage with youth participants to gather feedback and ensure their active involvement in the programs.
- Participate in the events organized by the youth project.
- Mentor and catch up with the project teams bi-weekly.
- Plan and Organize a Youth Festival:
- Support the planning, logistics, and coordination of a large-scale youth festival.
- Assist with event programming, including scheduling, speaker/guest coordination, and activities.
- Manage event communications, such as outreach, promotion, and participant engagement.
- Ad-hoc Project Support and Other Tasks:
- Offer Assistance across Impact Hub Phnom Penh’s operations and projects as required.
- Exhibit versatility in tackling various tasks and readily adapting to changing needs.
- Promote a friendly and positive atmosphere among members.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and output standards.
Requirements
- Education
- High school graduates or university students pursuing bachelor’s degrees or other informal educational degrees, associate degrees, and diplomas in business administration, entrepreneurship, innovations, economics, or related fields.
- Experience
- We are looking for aspiring entry-level youth who want to build their professional experience. Prior experience volunteering or internship will be a plus.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Problem-Solving Skills: Be able to identify challenges and provide creative solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Be able to plan events, workshops, or training sessions.
- Communication Skills: Be able to communicate through email and other digital platforms.
- Digital Skills: Be able to use digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspaces, Canva, and other relevant tools.
- Community Building: Be able to build strong relationships with youth and partners.
- Public Speaking: Be able to speak in front of an audience or host a meeting with stakeholders.
- Financial Skills: Be able to track expenses and create financial plans.
- Reporting Skills: Be able to write reports and present the findings to partners, and stakeholders.
- Languages Required: Good oral and written communication skills in Khmer (compulsory) and English.

We are a team of 25 people based in Phnom Penh. We’re a dynamic, diverse, and energized team. We have a beautiful, creative office in Tuol Tom Poung.
Impact Hub Phnom Penh has 4 big departments: finance, programs, media4impact, and communications. Generally speaking, we believe in ‘self-organizing teams’ and giving trust, creative responsibility, and autonomy to our team, which creates the leaders we need to grow fast and build a happy workplace. Flexible working hours – you can either work in the early morning (9 am to 6 pm) or start a bit later from 11 am to 8 pm. We acknowledge that different people have different productive times.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
1st step:
- Second face-to-face interview at Impact Hub Phnom Penh Office. Approximately 1 hour
- Assessment: You will receive the assessments to complete, which relate to your roles and skills, after the 1st interview. Expected Time: Approximately 1 hour
2nd step: Result Announcement
- You will expect to hear from us two weeks maximum after the 2nd face-to-face interview. (In case there is a change in the timeline above, we will inform you via email)
