About Green Jobs
As our economy continue to grows, the demand for human resources from our young people is crucial for us to move towards a green industry. If the economy is driven by green industry, it will allow us to have a better quality of life.
To do this, we need more young people in the Green sector, especially in areas that are highly dependent on the raw materials and have a high rate of impact on the climate and the environment, such as the garment sector.
Therefore, the Project Green Jobs aims to inspire young Cambodians and young people across ASEAN to better understand the potential of green careers in helping the climate and the environment, as well as given them with the knowledge and opportunities that they can use to pursue green careers.
By raising awareness on this topic among our youth, it is about cultivating human resources that can promote green industries, provide better and more sustainable lives, society and the environment.

What is eligibility to join the project?
For Youth participants in Battambang province from the following categories:
- Aged 16 to 35 in Battambang province
- University students, Fresh university graduates, Young professionals, Job seeker
- Sustainability & climate enthusiast
- Want to pursue a meaningful career in sustainability
- Able and committed to joining all of the Project Green Jobs activities that are taking place from 29 July to 04 August 2023
- Able to communicate in English

WHAT IS THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE APPLICATION?
Selected participants from Cambodia must be between the ages of 16 to 35 and reside in Battambang province. The participants must join all of the program activities and must be able to at least communicate in English. At the same time, the participants are required to stay in the accommodation assigned to them as part of the program.

WHERE and WHEN WILL THE PROGRAM TAKE PLACE?
The program will be taking place in Battambang province between 04 to 08 August 2023.
The selected participants are required to participate in the online meeting prior to the workshop dates.
