- Vandara Sin
Many of us are intimately familiar with the traffic situation in Phnom Penh City. Congestion, pollution, and road safety are the urban mobility challenges that affect our daily lives, our health and well-being. These challenges result from the growth of the urban population which come along with the increasing number of personal vehicles, and the lack of knowledge of road safety and individual responsibility awareness.
But do you know that along with the rising challenges, we have rising solutions!
Here are 5 impactful startups that we found through Urban Mobility Incubator, an incubation program under SUMAI (the Sustainable Urban Mobility for All Initiative). It’s a 3-year project led by UNDP Cambodia and Grab that aims to bring together a wide range of stakeholders in Cambodia to tackle these urban challenges in transport and mobility in Phnom Penh.
Let’s check them out!
